## What it cannot do

- Not a three-axis instrument in any mode — every reading is orientation dependent
- The frequency counter stops at 4.2 GHz, so a 5 GHz Wi-Fi or 6 GHz reading cannot be identified even though it is measured
- Above 8 GHz is out of specification, and the '10 GHz' figure in the maker's comparison table is a coverage claim rather than a specified measurement range
- The stated LF magnetic and electric tolerances of 20% and 25% are far wider than a metrology-grade gaussmeter, so it will not settle a marginal comparison against a limit
- No accredited calibration, so its numbers do not carry evidential weight in a formal complaint
