- No low-frequency magnetic or electric field measurement
- Nothing above 8 GHz
- The 38 mV/m floor is around 3.8 µW/m², so it cannot resolve the very low levels precautionary sleeping-area targets are written at
- No spectrum or frequency counter, so a reading cannot be attributed to a service
- A supplied certificate is the manufacturer's own; it is not an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration unless the certificate says so
