## Key values

- **Manufacturer:** WOREMOR
- **Model:** FL100
- **Material class:** Metal mesh and expanded-metal screen
- **Fields addressed:** radiofrequency, elf electric
- **Grounding required:** Yes — ungrounded installation can make things worse
- **Thickness:** 0.08 mm
- **Surface resistance:** 0.01 Ω square resistance

## Declared attenuation

Each figure is the manufacturer's declaration for the frequency and the layer or coat count named next to it. The percentage is computed from the dB value, not quoted separately.

- **1 GHz, single layer, flat sample** — 98 dB — removes 100.000% of the incident power density (1 part in 6.31 × 10^9 gets through)
- **1 GHz, two layers** — 132 dB — removes 100.000% of the incident power density (1 part in 1.58 × 10^13 gets through)

## Test method

Manufacturer states all attenuation values apply at 1 GHz, measured to ASTM D4935-10, IEEE Std 299-2006, IEEE Std 1128-1998 or ASTM A698/A698M-07, with a screening report published per material.

## Construction

Compact woven metallised polyester/polyamide netting with copper, nickel and a protective coating, 90 g/m², 90 cm wide, tensile strength 220 N/mm.

## Typical application

- Interior wall, ceiling and floor lining
- Intermediate layer bonded with conductive dispersion glue
- Laboratories, secure rooms and technical areas

## What the figure does not cover

- A 98 dB material does not produce a 98 dB room: at this level the installed result is set entirely by seams, edges, door frames, cable entries and ventilation, not by the sheet
- Requires a crease-free bond to a perfectly level surface, and textured wallpaper or rough plaster has to be smoothed first
- Conductive and therefore groundable for low-frequency electric fields, but the manufacturer declines to give a general grounding recommendation because it depends on the application
- Cut to length and non-returnable, so an installation has to be planned before ordering

## What these figures are

Every attenuation value on this page is the manufacturer's own declaration for a flat sample in a test fixture, reproduced so that products can be compared on the same terms. It is not a regulatory limit, not an independent test, and not a prediction of what a meter will read after installation — an installed shield is set by its weakest path, so the only figure that describes a room is a before-and-after measurement of that room.
