## What the figure does not cover

- Interior application on non-heat-absorbing glass only: applied to already-metallised solar-control glass, multiple reflections heat the pane and can crack it or break the edge seals
- The cut edge exposes the metal layers and has to be sealed, or the film corrodes inward from the edge
- 32 dB on the glass does nothing about the frame, the reveal or the wall around it, and the window frame needs separate shielding to keep the path closed
- Field arriving through walls, roof or floor is untouched, so a film alone rarely changes a whole-room reading much

Every attenuation value on this page is the manufacturer's own declaration for a flat sample in a test fixture, reproduced so that products can be compared on the same terms.
