## Key values

- **Organization:** Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People's Republic of China
- **Edition:** GB 8702-2014, effective 1 January 2015
- **Jurisdiction:** CN
- **Frequency range:** 1 Hz – 300 GHz
- **Status of values:** Legally enforceable in at least one jurisdiction

## Scope

Covers public exposure in the electromagnetic environment and the exemption scope for installations, and is used for environmental assessment and enforcement of transmitters and power infrastructure. It explicitly does not govern exposure of users to their own wireless terminals or household appliances, and is not a product-quality specification. Values from 0.1 MHz upward are RMS over any continuous 6-minute interval.
