## Scope

Environmental quality norms (chapter 2.14) bound the sum of all fixed transmitting antennas — mobile, radio, TV, radar, amateur, emergency-service and defence — while environmental conditions (chapter 6.10) bound each operator's own contribution at places of stay. Mobile handsets are excluded and covered by federal product norms instead. Since the 2022 amendment the norms span 100 kHz to 300 GHz.
