Scope
Applies to public exposure from fixed installations between 100 kHz and 300 GHz, averaged over a body-equivalent vertical section and over any 6-minute interval; occupational and medical exposures are excluded. The exposure limit protects against established short-term effects, the attention value applies inside buildings occupied four hours a day or more and their balconies and courtyards, and the quality objective applies outdoors in intensively frequented areas.
