- RF figures below 1 GHz and between 8 and 10 GHz are reference only by the manufacturer's own statement, which rules out quantitative work on FM, TETRA, 700–800 MHz cellular bands and anything above 8 GHz
- The magnetic sensor responds at 50/60 Hz only, so it cannot quantify inverter, induction-hob or traction fields in the intermediate range
- ±(15% + 100 digits) on the magnetic mode is a wide tolerance at low field strengths
- No peak-hold, so short pulsed bursts are under-reported
- No logging and no frequency identification
