Frequency coverage by mode

One band per measuring mode, as the manufacturer states it.

electric field strength
10 MHz – 8 GHz
power density
10 MHz – 8 GHz, the same sensor read out as power density

Display range by mode

RF field strength, isotropic
38 mV/m – 20 V/m (resolution 0.1 mV/m; 0.001 µW/m²)

Calibration

Supplied with a calibration certificate according to the manufacturer's listing, plus a user calibration factor settable from 0.10 to 9.99 — a correction factor, not a traceable calibration.

Suited to

  • Isotropic RF surveys where orientation should not change the reading: all three axes are summed and each can also be read individually
  • Wide low-end coverage down to 10 MHz, which takes in shortwave and FM broadcast that most consumer RF meters miss
  • Recording a set of survey positions: 200 manual data sets stored on the meter

What it cannot do

  • No low-frequency magnetic or electric field measurement
  • Nothing above 8 GHz
  • The 38 mV/m floor is around 3.8 µW/m², so it cannot resolve the very low levels precautionary sleeping-area targets are written at
  • No spectrum or frequency counter, so a reading cannot be attributed to a service
  • A supplied certificate is the manufacturer's own; it is not an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration unless the certificate says so

What these figures are

Every number on this page is the manufacturer's own declared specification, reproduced so that models can be compared field by field. Nothing here is an independent test of the instrument, a calibration certificate, or a statement that a reading taken with it can be compared with a regulatory limit — that depends on the detector, the averaging and, where it matters legally, an accredited calibration.
